This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Crown Electric Mobility (“Crown”, “Company”, “we”, “us”) and applies exclusively to Crown electric motorcycles, scooters, and related electric mobility products (“Vehicle” or “Product”) supplied to the end customer.
This Warranty sets out the terms under which specific components of the Product are covered against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions.
The Warranty coverage begins from the date of delivery of the Product to the original purchaser (“Customer”).
Subject to the terms stated herein, the standard warranty durations are as follows:
Warranty coverage will automatically end upon the expiry of the applicable warranty period or upon transfer/sale of the Product to another owner, whichever occurs first.
This Warranty is strictly limited to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable under any circumstances.
To qualify for Warranty service, the Customer must have purchased the Product through authorized Crown Electric Mobility channels and must be able to present valid proof of purchase, warranty card, or official invoice.
This Warranty applies only to manufacturing defects in the following major components under normal usage:
The battery is covered under a 48-month limited warranty, which applies strictly to repair-based servicing only. Replacement shall not be provided under normal warranty conditions. During the warranty period, repair labour will be free of cost, while any required spare parts will be chargeable as per company pricing policy.
Warranty claims shall only be accepted when the following requirements are fulfilled:
Repair support will be provided for verified manufacturing issues, including significant capacity degradation beyond acceptable limits (as per standard testing), BMS malfunction, cell imbalance due to production fault, charging or discharging failure, internal short circuits, connector or terminal faults, and other factory-related internal defects.
Cases involving water ingress, overheating, or thermal failure shall require joint technical inspection and mutual assessment. If confirmed as a manufacturing defect under approved protection standards, necessary repair or corrective action will be provided free of labour charges in accordance with warranty terms.
Warranty shall not cover damage caused by physical impact, use of unauthorized chargers, deep discharge due to misuse or negligence, self-repair attempts, missing or altered warranty documents, use of non-approved accessories or systems, or damage resulting from external factors including natural disasters. In such cases, all repair costs will be borne by the customer. Spare parts will be billed separately as per the official price list, while service charges will be applied according to company policy.
The motor warranty shall be strictly limited to repair services only, and no replacement shall be offered under any circumstances, as detailed below:
During the warranty period of 36 months, free repair service shall be provided for manufacturing-related defects. However, only spare parts (if required) shall be chargeable as per company price list, while labour/repair service shall remain free of cost. Covered issues include performance failure, non-operational phases, coil burn, demagnetization, detachment of magnetic material, shaft deformation, breakage, gear failure, bearing damage, and other internal manufacturing faults.
Water ingress into the motor shall be subject to joint inspection and technical verification by both parties. In cases where the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect within IPX5 protection standards, replacement shall be provided free of charge.
Damage caused by external impact, motor wire cut, water leakage due to misuse, self-repair or unauthorized disassembly, missing or altered warranty documents, use of non-authorized spare parts, issues arising from non-company components, and damages due to natural calamities shall not be covered under warranty. All repair expenses shall be borne by the customer. Spare parts shall be charged as per the official price list, and labour charges shall apply as per company policy.
